Karlene Cobbley - Cate, I need to nominate my niece, I have shared your page with her, but she is a RN and works crazy hours, and she is taking care of her husky that got hit as well. Anyway, she is Ryan’s “twin”, Tierra, they were born on the same day 1 1/2 hours apart. She wanted me to go with her, her hubby and 2 huskies up in the snow and take pictures, well we haven’t had much snow, then her oldest husky got hit about 5 weeks ago and had to have a bunch of surgery. So that was her idea, and I’d love for you to do her picture for them. Love KarleneReplyCancel

Sharice - Ok, so I finally thought of what I would want for a photo shoot. Although not really possible in Utah, but a beach shoot of some sort. So, maybe a lake shoot with the water in the background. But, more importantly a maternity shoot. No, I’m not announcing anything. But wouldn’t that look lovely? 🙂ReplyCancel

Carrie Ashby - Caitlyn I think the most awesome photo shoots would be taken in the natural beauty of the mountains and canyons in the spring spring or a beautiful natural landscape of spring flowers. Both would be amazing in a black and white photo as well.ReplyCancel

  • February 22, 2012 - 20:25

Kayla - And I have crazy bad pregnancy brain which would probably turn my creative ideas into just plain weird ones, lol. If I were to do a photoshoot any time soon it would definitely be either maternity shots or a family shoot once my kid is born, and for either of those I’d love something simple and soft and celebrating my family and how much I love them.

P.S. I’m so excited for you to really be getting your business underway! I always love seeing your photos and hearing about how much you love being a photographer. Congrats Caitlin!ReplyCancel

Amy Jo - I absolutely love your work. I started following you when you did my friend Kelcy/Nathan’s wedding and you seriously rock. I don’t have Facebook anymore or I would have spread the word around there, but I will enter this one way in the little hope I will get picked. I am a photographer as well, and I can’t get over how awesome your work is. I am going to be having a baby at the end of August and I know I will be wanting to do a family picture session before the end of the year. I am pretty open to all kinds of fun. My husband and I even did a session around the state fair last year. 🙂 I adore Autumn and everything that comes with it, especially the leaves, so a fun shoot when the colors change may just make my world! 🙂ReplyCancel

Cheryl Gibbons - Liked your Facebook page, too!ReplyCancel

  • February 22, 2012 - 17:41

Cheryl Gibbons - Oh pick me, Caitlin! 🙂 I am dying to have a family session. We don’t have a (frame-worthy) family photograph of Mike and I and our little Abby, who is now 5 months, and that makes me so sad. I am thinking outdoors with lots of pretty sunlight, perhaps you stumbled upon us having a little family picnic in a meadow? Things like “nostalgic” and “rustic” and “abby in her little cream-colored sweater dress” keep popping into my head…oh I can see it now!

P.S I shared your link on Facebook also 🙂ReplyCancel

Jennifer Burton - The idea I have is a romantic, wanna be engagement session. I love the lavender fields and I feel like that would scream romance. I also love the idea of shooting in the Salt Flats because they’re unique to Utah and can be “jazzed” up and romanticized with pops of color and fun energy. You are just too great! Can’t wait to see who wins!ReplyCancel

  • February 22, 2012 - 17:01

Molly Campbell - I liked te fan page and shared the giveaway on Facebook. I love that you’re doing this giveaway!
To steal an idea from pinterest, I’d like to pose in the same position as one of my favorite photos from our first session, whole holding a framed copy of said photo. Then we’d continue to do that with every session (I’d like to start having a yearly session with you) so with each new one, you can look back in time to the beginning.ReplyCancel

Mary - We took some of our wedding pictures at an old-time amusement park so it might be cool to continue that theme now that we have two kids but I’d be willing to try anything. I love all your shoots.ReplyCancel

Cristina - Ideas: We are a little family of 3 (My husband, myself, and our little girl who is 18 months). I think an outdoor family shoot would be fun with some cute props for our little girl, maybe some pretty Spring flowers. Thanksgiving Point would be a pretty setting!ReplyCancel

  • February 22, 2012 - 00:36

Lindsay - I liked it on Facebook! Even if we don’t win I don’t mind giving you some publicity! I always recommend you to everyone I know that needs a photographer! you are amazing!!
My idea: A real romantic shoot. Like a shoot with a dreamy feel to it. A place with lots of trees and a real woodsy feel to it, maybe with some water close by, where the sun shines throw the trees to give a nice lens flare to some of the pictures.
Sorry another idea, maybe inside somewhere like with a real at home feel to it with a nice comfy couch a shoot where it feels like you’re in the person’s home with them. It gives it a more personal at home, intimate feel to the pictures.

I dunno just some thoughts. Good luck to everyone! Can’t wait to see how your pictures turn out as always, I’m sure they will be gorgeous!!ReplyCancel
