One thing you might notice while you’re here on my website is that I love being in love. My husband is my best friend and biggest support. As much as I adore photography (and trust me, I do), my real reason for working as a wedding and portrait photographer is because I love working with other people who are in love. I can’t think of a better job in the world than capturing those moments between couples and families that exemplify their devotion toward one another. I strive diligently to document true emotion…and the personality of those I photograph.
On the technical side of things, I shoot with Canon DSLR camera bodies and lenses and occasionally dabble in film. I edit my photos in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I choose to keep my edits clean because I believe those are the most timeless. I prefer natural light photography, so most of my sessions take place outdoors. I try and schedule sessions two hours before sunset, otherwise known as “the golden hour.” I love the beautiful glowing, golden light that arrives at that time of day!
