The Andreasen Family: Temple Square

This spring I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorite families at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were visiting from Michigan and asked me to snap a few photos before they had to attend a wedding. I’m so grateful for the time I was able to spend with them while they were in town…they are such dear friends to my husband and me. Their girls are absolutely precious!

So the following pictures need a little explanation…while we were in the middle of our session, a group of tourists saw me taking photos of the sweet Andreasen girls. Suddenly, we were completely swarmed with people lining up to take pictures with them. It was THE ¬†funniest experience I have ever had on a shoot – including the time I ripped my pants. I think we were all in shock and didn’t know what to do! The Andreasen’s were great sports about it though and laughed it off. I’m glad I was able to get a few photos to document the experience.

His facial expression says it all…what is happening?!?!

Brittney - The picture are beautiful, but the tourist thing is absolutely hilarious. I hope the girls felt like movie starts for a few minutes.

Glacier National Park, Montana

This summer was a whirlwind of weddings, portrait sessions, and lots and lots of editing. I loved every minute of it, but definitely felt the need for a vacation towards the end. Thankfully, my husband and I were able to get away from it all for a few days and visit ¬†Glacier National Park in beautiful Montana . We completely fell in love with the people, the charm, and of course the stunning scenery. I can’t wait to go back.

Also, I’m happy to report that I didn’t get eaten by a bear. Phew!

Kathy - The pictures are spectacular. Glacier is truly a special place. Hope you got to sample some huckleberry pie!! :)
